Utilo File Converter privacy policy

Last updated: October 22, 2026

In short: Utilo File Converter does not collect any personal data. Your files are converted on your phone and are never sent to the Internet.

Who publishes the app

Utilo File Converter is published by the Utilo studio (utiloapps.com). Questions: contact@utiloapps.com.

Your files

No data collection

No account, no ads, no analytics, no trackers. The app does not even request permission to access the Internet: it cannot send anything.

If the app stops

If the app stops unexpectedly, a technical report (app and Android version, phone model, where in the program the error happened) is kept on your phone. It contains none of your files. The next time you open the app, it offers to send it to us by email: nothing is sent without your consent, and the report is deleted as soon as you close the window.

Permissions

Two technical permissions are also added by Android's video tools: reading the network state and keeping the phone awake during a conversion. They give no access to your data and cannot send anything.

The app does not request access to all your files, your location, your contacts, the camera or the microphone.

Google Play

App updates are offered by Google Play, and any in-app purchase goes through Google Play. These exchanges are handled by the Google Play app on your phone, under Google's privacy policy. We receive neither your payment details nor your personal data.

Children

The app does not collect any data, including children's data.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with its date.
